ELECTRIC BREAKAWAY KIT INCLUDING BATTERY
Electric Breakaway Kits are mandatory on all trailers exceeeding 2000kg.

Breakaway units apply a voltage to engage electric trailer brakes for a period of 15 minutes in cases where the trailer is detacted from the tow vehicle when travelling.

The Electric Breakaway Kit includes:
  • Breakaway switch
  • Breakaway audible alarm module.
  • 12 volt battery.
  • Solid Mounting case.

Module sounds alarm if:-
  • Battery low on amperes.
  • Wheel magnet open circuit.
  • Breakaway switch faulty.
  • Push Pin in Buzzer will switch off.
  • Recharge Battery Do Not Overcharge Battery.
