The Couple-mate Offroad Poly Block Coupling has been tested to be fully ADR Compliant

There are many Offroad couplings that are partially ADR compliant.

ADR Compliant or compliance may mean the device has been tested to meet some but not all of the ADR requirements. (Australian Design Rules).

ADR Approved means the device has been approved by the Department of Transport Canberra and will be issued with a CRN (Commonwealth Registration Number)

The Couple-mate Offroad Poly Block Coupling is currently undergoing certification in Canberra after successful testing. (CM200 and CM220)

Laurie Pedrick of Couplemate Trailer Parts today announced the release of their new Australian Extreme Off-Road Coupler to their range of trailer parts.

 

Laurie Said “Under normal driving conditions Couplers pull straight and true however, driving off road can be tricky and even dangerous when using Standard Trailer Equipment.”

 

‘Most of the popular North American trailer couplers are not suited to extreme conditions and limits a families camping experience. In the past, these remote locations have been almost impossible to visit.” Laurie said

 

The Couplemate Off-Road coupling has 360 degrees of Rotation and 70 degrees of Vertical Oscillation permitting access to extreme camping locations.

 

‘Families just love towing their trailer through rough conditions to camp in those locations that cannot normally be accessed. This Off-Road coupler opens up new family adventures and new camping experiences” Laurie said

 

Laurie said “We are really excited about this product for access to hunting, fishing in remote locations or just taking the family in to that secret valley you found last fall.”

 

The Off-Road Coupler is rated at 4400lbs to fit most trailers. Can be welded or bolted into position.
