LED Side Marker Light
LED side marker light. Trailers over 2100mm in width must have reflectors AND side marker lights attached to the sides of the trailers.
Suitable voltages are 9v to 33v
Dimensions 25mm x 50mm x 30mm
Reflectors are mounted
- To the rear of the mudguard – Red
- To the front of mudguard – Amber
In addition, trailer over 2100mm in width must carry side marker lamps.
These lamps are attached to the side of the trailer mudguard and are illuminated at night.

Quite often installing new lights causes the tow vehicle to flicker. Flickering is a serious problem as the onboard computer will be reporting the problem to your dash.
Installing an ECU to bypass the vehicle computer fixes flickering indicator light problems. Purchase ECU’s here
The onboard computer is measuring resistance, wattage and voltage drop to the newly installed lamps. It is quite likely the new lamps fall outside the computer specifications.
The best remedy, used by many tow bar installers, is to install a new ECU (electronic control unit) to control the LED light kit.
In 100% of cases, installing the ECU fixes problems with the vehicles flickering lights.
