Jockey Wheels

Jockey wheels are used to engage and disengage your coupling from your to vehicle. Additionally, they are used to move your caravan or boat trailer.

Why Jockey Wheels Are A Necessity

If you’ve ever travelled in a caravan, you’ll know the importance of jockey wheels. For the uninitiated, this is what holds up the front end of your trailer. This makes it easy to park, manoeuvre, or move slightly.

You can get a simple, cheap clamp-on wheel—great for older trailers—or an off-road heavy duty model. People usually go for the latter when they realize smaller jockey wheels just won’t do. Usually, the small wheel they bought breaks when they least expect it to. If you’re looking at a big caravan, you’re better off with a heavy duty jockey wheel.

Power movers let you shift your trailer by yourself, helping you push it with minimal effort and a swing-up jockey wheel lets you ‘swing’ it right up when you’re pulling it with your ute.

Jockey Wheels At Couplemate

We carry most sizes of Manutec and Al-ko Jockey Wheels and spare parts. If you don’t see the part you need here, give us a call—we probably carry it. Note, though, that we only carry Al-ko and Manutec parts.

Generally, we do not stock Ark products. Consequently, if you see a blue part on your jockey wheel—that’s how you know you have an Ark product—we do not stock spares for it.

If you ever find yourself stuck in no man’s land, simply get in touch with us over the phone or through our website. We deliver our jockey wheel parts right to where you’re stranded!

Couplemate sells only the best quality trailer and caravan spares throughout Australia—covering the Northern Territory, Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. We also ship products via Australia Post Air to New Zealand.
