50mm Drop Short Tow Bar Receiver

50mm drop short receiver is the shortest hitch receiver installed on Australian tow bars. Measure the drop from the tongue’s top to the square insert’s top.

The tow bar receiver hitch kit fits standard 50mm tow bars with ratings up to 3,500kg. This receiver bar or ball mount suits the 50mm x 50mm square steel box section.

Couplemate designed and commissioned tooling to manufacture the main image (right), in Australia to enable inverted towbars whilst maintaining the 3,500kg rating.

Important: We recommend offroad couplings of all brands use a solid cast receiver hitch. Hollow receivers have a welded tongue that distorts in extreme offroad conditions and under shock loading events on the highway.

• 160mm – Centre pin to the centre of the tow ball
