1/2 x 55-82mm Slotted Shackle Plate

A 1/2 x 55-82mm slotted shackle plate is used with 50mm u-bolts as a fixture clamp. All plates are 8mm thick for heavy-duty clamping.

The standard width of plates is 40mm however, AL-KO uses a 32mm shackle plate on their standard tandem suspension.

Couplemate shackle plates are laser cut and SA5 plated or Electrogaled in Brisbane.

Eye to Eye springs all use plates to secure the rear of the spring to the chassis via shackle plates.

Depending on the suspension configuration, plates can be attached to the rocker arm or the rear dumjack.

Plates are never connected to the front spring hanger.
