39mm Round Axle Galvanised – 750kg Maximum Rating
39mm round axle is galvanised and rated up to 750kg on LM bearings for single axle trailers and 1500kg to suit tandem or dual axle boat trailers
Add 100mm to the Face to Face measurement to get the tip-to-tip measurement. The axles listed here are face-to-face. The face measurement is where the studs are located on the hub, not the end of the hub.
Axles length is measured from tip to tip; however, the length can also be calculated from hub face to hub face. Axles supplied with nut, washer and split pin.
We cut axles into 3 lengths. 1800mm, 2100mm, and 2200mm and then cut to your desired length. Hence, you will notice the same price for the shorter axles.
Please note: Reduce axle capacity to 600kg when installing wide tyres on standard bearings.

Heavy loads on light axles create what we call axle flex. Axle flex results in axle vibration at high speeds. This vibration occurs in the middle of the axle.
The result of axle flex is premature ageing of the trailer springs and trailer vibration at high speeds.
Replace your 39mm Round Axle Galvanised with a heavy-duty 45mm Square Axle if bending in the middle by more than 5mm.
Wider trailers require square axles for the best suspension performance.
