VIN plate to suit all trailers and caravans up to 4.5t. Legal all states.
The use of screws to attached the VIN plate to your trailer is not recommended. Pop rivets are the preferred method of plate attachment.
Note: Some states issue VIN identification labels with registration labels. Other states require to purchase your own VIN labels.
Example, in Qld. trailers under 750kg that require self-assessment.
VIN plates must be engraved with the following details:
- Trailer Model
- Date of Manufacture
- Aggregate Trailer Mass
- V.I.N. (Vehicle Identification uUmber)
- Wheel Rim Size Profile
- Tyre Size
- Recommended Cold Inflation pressure @
- Max Load
- Axle Load Capacity
- Recommended max operating speed.
