- Solder all joints
- Heat Shrink all soldered joints.
- Test lights before soldering
- Run cabling inside the chassis rail.
- Do not use the trailer frame as earth. Always install a separate earth wire. (white cable)
Trailer lights are not voltage drop sensitive due to the LED drawing such a low current.
However, an electric brake cable is the opposite. Always install a larger size than the recommended one. Bigger is better when installing electric brake cables.
