12-inch Hydraulic Backing Brake Plate
Replacement Hydraulic Backing Plates are similar to the reliable and efficient Dexter parts used in the automotive industry for many years.
This universal hydraulic backing plate replaces all backing plates except the older Westco versions.
You will need to cut and reinstall your weld ring if replacing older versions.
Install an adjuster on the bottom of the backing plate.
Hydraulic brake backing plates are sold on the Left and Right. The right side is the driver’s side.
Furthermore, replacing the entire assembly is more accessible than installing replacement hydraulic brake shoes or wheel cylinders.
Note 9″ and 10″ brake cylinders are not interchangeable.

Tip: Look inside your wheel cylinder connection to see if there is an olive locator for your hydraulic hose. If not, you will require an adaptor nut.
