Ensure your caravan or camper trailer handles corrugated outback tracks with ease. Traditional leaf spring suspensions on solid axles are considered inferior to heavy-duty, independent front suspensions. An independent suspension offers significant advantages in ride height on dirt roads.
Without a solid axle beam in the middle of the trailer to scrape ridges, you gain maximum ground clearance when navigating deep ruts. As your trailer’s payload increases, upgrading your suspension system is vital.
We use only premium, Australian-made Lovells springs in our Couplemate independent suspension assemblies. Our replacement coils feature a durable, powder-coated protective layer.
Each spring is engineered for optimal spring rate tuning, compressing exactly 1mm for every 30kg of load (or 0.0333mm per 1kg).
Please note: Lovells Australia may supply blue powder-coated springs when the standard black series is out of stock. If your trailer uses a competitor’s suspension brand, please measure your original dimensions thoroughly before purchasing, as we cannot verify competitor coil sizing.

Lovells Australia manufactures our high-grade springs locally. During periods where the standard black series is temporarily out of stock, Lovells supplies identical factory-spec springs finished in their iconic signature blue powder coat to eliminate shipping delays.
