Parallel Galvanised Lazy Unbraked Hub

Parallel galvanised Land Cruiser lazy hub – no bearings, but includes nuts. 800kg hubs are preferred for tandem and launching trailers.

Upgrading five-stud or six-stud hubs is challenging at the best of times. Before buying your new five-stud six-stud rims and tyres, you must take many measurements.

Lug Nuts

Lug nuts prevent the ends of your stud threads from rusting.

Parallel lazy hubs use Ford 1/2″ UNF nuts or 1/2″ Dome / Lug Nuts. This would suit six-stud.

9/16 UNF nuts would suit 5-stud.

Please Note: Rusted studs make it almost impossible to remove wheel nuts. Also, inserting dry seals into your axle can damage them. Instead, grease your seals to ensure a smooth insertion into your axle seal journal.

Grease designed for high temperatures is a high-quality lubricant for high-speed highway use.
