10-inch HT Galvanised Disc Rotor
10-inch HT Galvanised Disc Rotor brakes boat trailers up to 1450kg.
The disc surface has the galvanising removed to maximise braking efficiency.
High-grade steel is the foundation for building this superior disc rotor.
This disc rotor sets the industry standard for disc-braked axles and is the most popular rotor in our axle builds.

Galvanised disc rotors suit standard bearings on 39mm Round Axles to 40mm Square axles or SL bearings for 45mm Round Axles and larger.
In the context of boat trailers, the integration of galvanised components, such as ht disc brake rotors, plays a crucial role in enhancing durability and corrosion resistance.
These rotors are specifically designed to withstand the harsh marine environment, ensuring consistent braking performance.
Regular maintenance checks are essential to assess the condition of the brake system, including inspecting for any signs of wear or galvanic corrosion on the rotor surfaces.
By utilising high-quality galvanised materials, trailer manufacturers can significantly extend the service life of brake components, thereby improving overall safety during transport.
Trailer Bearing Kit required but not included
- Inner Bearing ID 35.00mm, OD 59.10mm
- Outer Bearing ID 22.00mm, OD 45.20mm
- Seal ID 43.9mm, OD 59.10mm
- Dust Cap 45.20mm
A larger brake disc rotor is available for 1600kg and 2250kg ratings and suits 5-stud and 6-stud Land Cruiser hubs only.
Dacromet Process vs Hot-dip Galvanising
Dacromet: In the Dacromet treatment process, chromic acid reacts with zinc, aluminium powder, and base metal to form a dense, highly corrosion-resistant passive film.
Hot-dip galvanising: First, the iron and steel parts are pickled to remove surface oxides.
Products are then immersed in a molten zinc solution.
Then, through the reaction and diffusion between iron and zinc, a zinc alloy coating with good adhesion is coated on the surface of steel products.
The Application of the Dacromet Process and the hot-dip galvanising process differs.
Dacromet uses
- hardware tools,
- auto and motorcycle parts,
- subway tunnels,
- metal parts of the light rail,
- railway and electrified railway,
- metal parts of bridges,
- highways,
- port machinery, and metal parts in high-heat environments around engines.
Hot dip galvanising use
- marine industry,
- railway,
- highway protection,
- power towers,
- communication towers,
- street lamp poles,
- substation auxiliary facilities,
- and light industry.
