75mm Pintle Ring Coupling – 49kN
Australian-made and ADR-approved, the Couplemate™ 75mm Pintle Ring Coupling is for heavy-duty towing.
An example of a rating is a 10-ton trailer towed by a 10-ton truck; the D-value is 49 kN (refer to the table below for the calculation of your towing combination).
Another example is a 20-ton truck that can tow a 6-ton trailer; the D-value is 45 kN. The table below shows variable towing capacities.
The COUPLING-RING-255 is vital to the Couplemate™ core towing range. It is a popular and reliable choice for trailers across Australia.
With a 75mm (3″) internal diameter, the Couplemate™ Pintle Ring suits a variety of pintle hooks. When towing with combination-type pintle hooks, Couplemate™ recommends using a tow ball protector to increase product lifespan and reduce noise.
The COUPLING-RING-255 requires four M16 high-tensile bolts to attach to the trailer drawbar (not included).
