Do not guess the weight of your tailgate. Buying the correct size requires a simple measurement:

- Note down the weight reading.
- Select a spring size that is 10kg less than the scale weight.
What happens if I buy a spring that is too heavy?
Many buyers mistakenly buy the largest spring to ensure maximum lift. If the spring is too heavy, the tailgate will only lower halfway because the spring’s tension resists the ramp’s weight. How do I tell a Left-Hand spring from a Right-Hand spring?
