7-Pin Flat Plug – Trailer/Caravan Drawbars
Couplemate™ supplies 7-pin plugs with stainless steel screws.
The problem with the trailer plug is determining which wire goes into which terminal. The information below is helpful, but there is more.
Standard terminals are made from aluminium and are prone to breakage when tightening. Stainless terminals are superior for electrical connection and tightening.
Each plug uses the standard Australian wiring system (circuit diagram below) for 12V systems.
