A: No. This kit includes 2 brake shoes and the hardware required to re-shoe one wheel only. To service a dual-wheel (single) axle, you will need to purchase two kits.

Q: How do I distinguish between the primary and secondary shoes during installation?

A: The primary brake shoe features a shorter lining and must face toward the front of the trailer or caravan. The secondary brake shoe has a longer lining and must face toward the rear.

Q: Do electric brake magnets have positive and negative polarity?

A: No, Dexter brake magnet wires do not have specific polarity. One wire connects to the positive power supply from the brake controller, and the other connects to ground wire.

Q: Is this kit compatible with self-adjusting brakes?

A: Yes, this shoe and lining kit fits both manual-adjust and Dexter Nev-R-Adjust® forward self-adjusting 12″ x 2″ electric drum brake systems.
