- Weld the safety chain holder to the tow bar.

- Aluminium Trailers: Weld the chain holder to a plate and bolt it to the trailer via 4 x high-tensile bolts.
- The triangle tag is a safety feature that prevents the 4140 pin from falling out of the holder.

- Don’t use with smaller/larger chain: Avoid using chains smaller than 13mm (which can slip) or larger chains that will not seat correctly in the slot.
- Don’t weld over the pin mechanism: Keep weld splatter and heat away from the locking pin area to ensure the chain remains quickly removable.
- Don’t modify or grind the holder: Never cut, alter, or heavily grind down the holder body, as this severely compromises its G80 strength rating.
- Don’t use for overhead lifting: Truck safety chain holders are rated only for towing and tie-down applications, not lifting.
