M12x1.5 Chrome Trailer Mag Wheel Nut
Mag wheel nuts are also known as dome nuts, lug nuts, or acorn nuts.
Along with aesthetics, mag wheel nuts serve a practical purpose, which is to protect the end of your stud thread.
Most trailer hubs are supplied with open-ended wheel nuts, which will lock onto your stud if they become rusty.
This makes standard nuts impossible to remove with a standard wheel brace, and you will likely need a strong impact rattle gun.
Mag wheel nuts are a better option for trailers, caravans, and campers operating in marine and/or off-road environments. Lugs nuts prevent the end of the wheel stud from rusting.
