Installation Note
For maximum security, once the split pin is inserted through the towball shank and castle nut, the legs should be bent in opposite directions—one over the top of the shank and the other down against the flat of the nut. Never reuse a split pin; always install a fresh pin whenever the towball is serviced or reinstalled.
