4 Stud Lazy Trailer Hub – Australian Made

This Australian-made 4-stud lazy trailer hub is designed for use on trailers under 750 kg, and as a rear axle setup on tandem trailers or caravans under 2,000 kg. Couplemate proudly supports Australian workers and their families who manufacture these products locally.

Manufacturing Notice: At Couplemate, we machine our own 4-stud galvanised lazy hubs and other boat trailer spare parts at our Wynnum facility in Queensland. Land Rover, Range Rover, and Metra Land Cruiser stud variations require 48 hours’ notice before axle build supply. Uncommon stud patterns are made to order and are therefore a little more expensive.

What is the best trailer bearing to use?

We highly recommend Japanese bearings for high-speed highway use and long-term durability.

Maintenance Tips:

Check bearings yearly for water ingress or carbon black deposits in your grease.
Note: Carbon black indicates bearing wear, caused by friction against the bearing casings.
Quick Inspection Method: Jack up the wheel, grease it thoroughly at the top and bottom, and give it a firm front-to-back shake to check for play.
