The 63mm dust cap dolly never misses or inserts a crooked grease cap every time — no more damaged dust caps.

It’s simple, and it’s surprising this device hasn’t been used more widely. Once you own one, the dust cap dolly will provide decades of excellent service.

Compatibility

This dolly fits Australian Parallel and 2t standard hubs, disc rotors, and drums.

It also fits an American 2.441″ hub, disc rotors, grease caps and drums.

We sell dollys that suit SL, LM, Dexter, and 2t or parallel caravan wheel bearings.

Another name for a dust cap is a grease cap.

A common misconception is that the grease cap should be filled with grease when installed.

The purpose of the grease cap, also known as the dust cap, is to collect excess grease as the bearing cavity heats and expels lubricant.

We use these grease cap dollies in our workshop. Although many hubs are on the market, some lack chamfered entry points for the bearings.

Specifications

The dolly is made of medium-tensile steel K1045, making it easy to add caps to a hub, drum, or disc rotor.
