2-5/16-inch American Tow Balls are required to fit trailers imported from the USA. We stock trailer parts, including 2″ and 2 5/16″ tow balls to suit 3.500kg US boat trailer couplings.
Furthermore, we now coat tow balls with chrome, a highly corrosion-resistant plating.

Please note: Standard Australian tow bar mount or receiver hitch mount has a 7/8-inch diameter hole.
2 -inch tow balls require a 22mm hole in the receiver.
The best option for American trailers is to replace the US couplings with Australian equipment.
It is challenging to source American hubs, drums, bearings, seals, and dust caps in the Australian market to replace faulty equipment or ensure the same equipment meets Australian Standards during registration.
