Trojan park brake handles secure your boat trailer when parked.

Couplemate Tips

Trojan Mark 5 and 6 boat-trailer parts: No longer manufactured.
Trojan caliper slide bolts: Factory-secured with locktite.
Trailer weights exceeding 2000 kg: Require independent control and a breakaway facility to ensure brake activation in emergencies.
Changing or Inspecting Disc Pads: Gently seat the piston by applying a G clamp to the piston. This procedure will provide additional room to insert the disc pads.
When inserting a piston: Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the piston. Silicone lubricant does not contaminate hydraulic brake fluid like grease.
Installation Tip: Install the parking brake at the rear of the rotor.
We do not recommend: Installing park brake handles yourself. Instead, have your local trailer or boat repairer install this device for you.
Trojan recommends: The two stainless screws provided with the park brake handle be locktited into position.
Latest Trojan Caliper Compatibility: The latest Trojan hydraulic caliper mounts onto a threaded anchor plate.
