40mm Square Axle – 1000kg Maximum Rating
40mm Square Axle is rated up to 1000kg on LM bearings for single axle trailers and 2000kg to suit tandem or dual axle boat trailers
Add 100mm to the Face-to-Face measurement for tip-to-tip measurement. The axles listed here are face-to-face. The face measurement refers to the location of the studs on the hub, not at the end of the hub.
The length of the axle is measured from tip to tip; however, it can also be calculated from hub face to hub face. The axles are supplied with a nut, washer, and split pin.
Please note: Reduce axle capacity to 600kg when installing wide tyres on standard bearings.

Axle flex results in vibration at high speeds, which occurs in the middle of the axle.
The result of axle flex is premature aging of the trailer springs and vibration at high speeds.
Wider trailers require square axles for the best suspension performance.
