Mechanical disc brakes are often seen on light marine and boat trailers in Australia. One crucial component of this brake style is the mechanical caliper bolt.

1 x 7/16″ UNF zinc bolt
1 x Zinc flat washer
1 x Zinc shake-proof washer

When it’s time for repairs and maintenance, remember to install it in this order: Bolt head → Flat washer → Shakeproof washer → Caliper bush.

One caliper will require two bolt kits. One disc-brake axle will require four bolt kits.
