- Insert a steel ring into the hub and ensure it is firmly against the outside boss.
- Insert the rubber seal over the axle journal.
- Install the hub and bearings over the rubber seal.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What does the NSK 3t Japanese Bearing Kit include? This premium kit features high-grade, genuine Japanese NSK bearings paired with the high-performance Seal 64607 for maximum durability under heavy 3-tonne loads.
- Why are genuine Japanese NSK bearings recommended? NSK is a global leader in precision engineering. Japanese-manufactured NSK bearings undergo strict quality control, ensuring exact tolerances and superior heat resistance.
- Will this kit fit my specific 3t axle or hub assembly? Yes, if your system uses the 64607 seal profile and standard 3-tonne bearing configuration. Always verify your existing part numbers before installation.
Genuine NSK vs. Non-Genuine Kits
The right components directly affect your equipment’s safety and longevity. Here is what you need to know about opting for non-genuine alternatives.
Advantages of Non-Genuine Kits
- Lower upfront cost: Cheaper than premium Japanese engineering.
- High availability: Readily available from budget generic suppliers.
Disadvantages of Non-Genuine Kits
- Premature failure: Lower resistance to friction and heat under heavy 3t loads.
- Seal compromises: Substandard rubber compounds in generic seals lead to grease leaks and water ingress.
- Increased downtime: Frequent replacements raise long-term maintenance costs.
- Safety risks: Structural failure under load can cause catastrophic hub or axle damage.
