50mm Drop Towbar Receiver Hitch Kit 3.5t – No Towball
A towbar receiver hitch kit to suit the insertion of a DO35 or similar towing pin.
Couplemate™ heavy-duty trailer receivers are made of solid cast iron, improving connection strength between your trailer and tow vehicle.
Fabricated and Welded Tow Hitches
Over time, cast steel products are far superior to fabricated/welded products.
Welded tow ball hitch mounts and hollow receivers can distort under off-road conditions and during shock loading on the highway. When inverted, hollow hitches are more likely to deform.
Under extreme stress loads, fabricated products have been known to crack or break on the welded components.
Cast Steel Hitches
When inverted to gain extra height, the COuplematecast hitch maintains its full 3,500kg rating.
Cash hitches have no fabricated welds to crack and are very well suited to Australian Offroad COnditions.

The Couplemate™ Trailer Receivers are one of the last trailer hitches on the market to be Australian-made. The receiver shanks are cast in Sydney, drilled and machined in our Brisbane warehouse.
What is a Tow Bar Receiver Hitch?
Your tow bar connects to your tow vehicle and to your trailer coupling, usually via a tow ball or tow pin.
Hitches are available in various towing capacities, so choosing the right one for your requirements is crucial. Ensure your trailer weight does not exceed your towbar’s rated capacity (e.g., if your tow rating is 3.5t, your hitch rating must also be 3.5t).
