10-inch Offroad Electric Magnet Right

The 10-inch offroad electric magnet right is attached to the driver’s side of the caravan or trailer. Install backing plates with the magnet facing down.

Electric brake magnets require first-class cabling to work efficiently. Small cable causes voltage loss and inefficient braking.

6mm automotive cable is the minimum size; larger cables are acceptable.

Larger cables reduce voltage losses over longer lengths of the cable run.

Electric backing plates are identical except for the brake magnet arm.

The right magnet arm will be on the right side of the backing plate.

Finally, the magnet is secured to the magnet arm with a rubber band. The first braking event removes the rubber band.
