60mm Round Axles
60mm round axles are machined to either 2t or 3t axle profiles.
3t Profiles are required in heavy-duty situations such as farm or agricultural where overloading frequently occurs.
Axles bending in the middle by more than 5mm require a heavier-duty solution.
This solution is simple, upgrade the axle size and transfer the backing plates and drums to the new axle.
Alternatively, a 3t axle setup complete with brakes or unbraked hubs is a great solution.
Galvanised axles with hydraulic brakes are a perfect solution for boat trailers up to or over 4.5t.
The mining industry also uses Couplemate 6t unbraked axles for trailers within the mine site. We are able to provide some braking for this type of trailer.
