Pintle Hook Parts, Replacement Safety Chains and Tow Balls
Pintle Hook parts include tow balls, safety pin chains and high tensile replacement bolts. If your ring coupling is damaged, it requires replacement.
Safety chains and pins are the most common item that requires replacement.
Breakage occurs generally during the hitch-up process. The safety chain left lying across an open chamber will be broken by the ring coupling making a connection.
There are two types of safety chains available
- A universal safety chain and pin,
- Chain and Pin to fit the CM532
Pintle mounting bolts are 1/2″ high tensile, grade 8. Lengths vary according to the mounting position.
